Icing works!

I went for my 50 minute walk after work and I must have still be tensed up from Saturday because I was one big ache from the waist down. So when I got home, I tried the cold water in the tub thing like Robin said. And I really feel better. Of course, the cold running water was quite a shock at first! Never done that before and was surprised at how much it helped.

Well, after Saturday I was determined to get "my groove" back. Don't get me wrong, Saturday was great - 5 miles that morning then the 5k that evening - I was thrilled; tired but thrilled and I knew I was on my way back. Then I got those emails from Mark this morning and that really got me going! I am not giving up on this thing! You guys out there who have fallen behind, don't give up. This is such a wonderful experience that you will cherish for the rest of your lives! So get up and do what you have to do to get "your groove" back! It's totally worth it! I AM A MARATHONER!!!
