Complete, not Compete!

I've been so bad!!

What's wrong with me? I have done nothing since Saturday! I don't know what has happened and I have no excuses. This potato slipped into her old habits on the couch. I know I've had problems on xt days, but not the walking days, so what gives? All I know is, I AM NOT GIVING UP! I'm still excited about completing and not competing, but this is ridiculous. I won't be able to complete anything if I don't get up off my fat rump!

I'm really looking forward to the 5k on April 14 and the MM "party" afterward. Maybe that will get me going again.

BTW, Christa, it was really nice meeting you last Saturday and finishing the last few yards with you.

Okay, did I just get rid of some stuff or was I just whining?

    Sheila,

If you need some pushing, call me!!!! I will meet you at the park, Fitness lady, the walking track in Ridgeland or wherever. Clark and I ride bikes some on Sundays if you would like to join us.
I have had to rest a couple of days this week due to my knee pain but will be walking Saturday.
We ARE going to do this thing! 601-856-1878

We all get into slumps every once in a while. After Saturday I didn't exercise until yesterday. Sometimes we just need a rest, and I've convinced myself that that's okay. Don't beat yourself up. You can do this. And let me tell you, the upcoming Mexican food will DEFINITELY be my inspiration for the next week! It'll be fun! I'm glad I finally got to meet you Saturday and finish the 4 miles with you. Keep your chin up Sheila! You are a marathoner!!!!!

It's alright, Sheila, but now that you are rested....get up and get out there! You ARE a marathoner!

Sheila, I'm with you about being a slacker lately. The question even "fleeted" across my mind that I may not have the discipline to do the marathon. HOWEVER, if other couch potatoes have done this, then so can I AND so can you!! Maybe starting that new job has you distracted and anxious. Just pump up the tires and get going!
