Isn't she the cutest thing!?

I had such a wonderful weekend with my granddaughter, Iliana (and her parents)! She talks constantly and runs everywhere giggling all the way - maybe she'll do the Chicago Marathon one day, especially since her Dad is going to do it with you guys this year. She'll be there to cheer everyone on too!
My knee and tailbone are still sore but it is so wonderful not having to use that dreadful walker! I will be having a bone density test tomorrow and will see the doctor Tuesday to get the results. It has been hard to accept the fact that the older we get, the longer it takes our bodies to heal. I haven't done enough exercising this week and I could tell yesterday when I went swimming. One lap and I was breathing hard. Of course it could have been all the "birthdaying" we did at work yesterday. I haven't eaten that much in weeks!!! I'm going to eat lighter until our ½ marathon party Saturday evening. Then I'll get back on track. It sounds like we're going to have a lot of good food which may or may not be on the super foods list! ;o)

I'll see you guys Saturday morning for the ½ marathon at Lakeshore Park. I'll be the one sitting on the sidelines for you should you need anything. Remember, it's a good idea to take your cell phone with you just in case you need some help along the way. Robin and Clark can't be everywhere all the time, so I'll be at home base if you need me. My number is 601-212-3548. Save the number in your cell phone for emergencies.

See you Saturday morning, Marathoners!!

Thank you so much for the comments on my blog. I took an antidepressant one time for 3 months and it was exactly what I needed to get my old self back. So, if I don't start getting a grip soon I will see my Dr. Oh my goodness, your granddaughter is precious. I think she looks like you. I am glad you had such a nice visit in Arkansas.

She is SUCH a sweetie! :)

Yeah, age catches up with us all. It's inevitable. *sigh* Hope your bone density test comes out normal.
