Hey everyone!
I returned to work yesterday! Let me tell you something; it's slow moving with a walker! It seems like it takes me forever to get from my car to my desk, not to mention getting to the ladies room on the other side of the building. I feel like I'm developing my biceps without even using weights. . . I guess that's because I AM the weight! LOL Anyway, it's good to be back out among the world. But it will be such a long time before I can be back out there with all my marathoner friends. Six weeks feels like an eternity! I'm planning to go by the Jackson Baptist Healthplex one day this week to get set up for swimming after work. Anyone want to join me? I haven't been able to get on the recumbent bike because it hurts my tailbone (remember I lost my balance and landed on it about a week ago). It's getting better so it shouldn't be long before I can start the biking. The sooner the better so I can build my endurance so when I can get back out there with you guys, I'll be able to keep up.

Sorry I can't join you at the HealthPlex after work for a swim. I will be biking on Monday and Wednesday and wogging at the track on Tues, Thurs. However, in the event of a big thunderstorm or something after work, I won't bike or run, and would love to get in a swim. Let me know what schedule you work out, so I can join you if the opportunity arises.
Good job keeping up your exercise and building aerobic capacity even though you aren't running. Once you get back "on your feet" it won't take long to get your legs in shape if you've been working out your lungs and heart.
I really appreciate your positive attitude and "stick-to-itiveness" I don't know that I would be so dedicated if I were injured.

Hey girl, you are getting in some serious XT with that walker and those biceps! That is great you are doing some endurance training, like swimming and biking. You're keeping up with us in your own way. Hang in there!
